Property hunters are likely to be amazed and horrified in equal measure following the listing of a two-bed house in Cornwall with caved in roofs and stain-riddled carpets.
Situated just five miles from the Cornwall coast in the historic town of Camborne, this property is almost 50 per cent cheaper than the average listing in the area - and it's not hard to see why.
From the outside the mid-terrace house looks like a quaint, country home. But the clue in the property listing is that it reads: 'In need of extensive renovation.'
The terraced house (centre), painted brown, is just five miles from the seaside, but inside there's a lot of work that needs to be done including ceiling repairs, carpet cleaning and rubbish removal. The £100,000 asking price is not necessarily a bargain
The home is not exactly prepared for winter - the ceiling is caving in the living room and one of the bedrooms. By the time you've renovated this property rising gas prices will be the least of your financial concerns.
The bed is propped up against the wall revealing stains on the carpet and there are piles of clothes, books and CDs you'd struggle
