Joe Rogan has posted a video that has made direct comparisons between coronavirus restrictions including proof-of-vaccine documents to the Holocaust that led to the murder of six million Jews by German Nazis.

The 1:45 long video which was shared Rogan's 13 million Instagram followers contains a host of stock images and video designed to stir viewers emotions.

The shots contain  everything from American flags, eagles and Jesus carrying a cross to images of Jewish ghettos in 1940s Europe, marching Nazis, Hilter, SS guards and footage of concentration camps including Majdanek at which at least 78,000 people including 60,000 Jews were killed.

The short film which was put together by a fan, Samuel Rivera Films which helps 'brands, businesses, and entrepreneurs tell their story.'

The clip is dubbed with a voiceover of Rogan himself, made from audio clips of The Joe Rogan Experience, in which he could be heard railing against the potential dangers of vaccine mandates and authoritarianism.

Although Rogan does not mention the Holocaust or Nazis directly in the clip, the images are overlaid with a clear warning from Rogan for people to protect their 'freedoms'.

'As soon as you give politicians power, any kind of power that didn't exist previously, if they can figure out a way to force you into carrying something that lets you enter businesses or lets you do this or lets businesses open, historically, they are not gonna give that power up. They find new reasons to use it. We have to protect those freedoms at all cost, whether you agree with people's choices or not, because it is the foundation that this country was founded on: freedom,' Rogan warns.

The podcast host goes on to explain why he believes freedom to be so important in the United States.

'It is the literal structure that allows this country to be so f***ing amazing. Anything that comes along that can inhibit your freedom is, by definition, anti-American.'

Rogan has come under fire in the past for sharing his doubts over the vaccine.

Although he has stated that he is not an anti-vaxxer, he has continued to voice his opposition to vaccine mandates and proof-of-vaccine requirements.

Rogan has not stated in public whether he has been vaccinated.

Earlier this month, Rogan tested positive for Covid-19 and said he took various drugs in an attempt to combat it including the horse dewormer Ivermectin.

Rogan claimed that multiple doctors told him to take the drug along with several others, despite the Food and Drug Administration's insistence the drug is only meant to treat parasitic infections and not COVID.

He claims the medical cocktail helped him recover and joked that he might 'sue CNN' for slamming his use and promotion of Ivermectin.

'They're making s*** up. They keep saying I'm taking horse dewormer. I literally got it from a doctor. It's an American company. They must know that's a lie.'

Rogan, who tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this month, also said he was upset that some of the news agencies that covered the story did not highlight his recovery.

CNN's medical analyst Dr. Jonathan Reiner warned that what Rogan had done was dangerous.

'He's promoting, kind of a crazy jumble of, you know, sort of folk
