Vaccination bling is sweeping the Internet in a trend that even NY Governor Kathy Hochul was taking part in when she was seen wearing a gold nameplate that read 'vaxed' at multiple events last week.
Amazon has already begun selling iterations of the pro-vaccine jewelry for other vaccinated people to get the governor's look at an affordable price, such as a $39 sterling silver necklace that spells out the word 'vaccinated' in cursive similar to the one the governor donned.
Hochul's was from a brand called VaxedSwag and the gold necklace set the governor back $27.
Many vendors on Etsy joined in on the business opportunity as more people look to display their vaccination status. Etsy seller THEVAXXEDHUT is going beyond necklaces to offer earrings, silver-plated or beaded charm bracelets that read either 'vaccinated' or 'vaxxed' - and all for only $9.
A different seller is offering a $15 charm boasting a plate reading 'vaxxed af' paired with a metal needle that could be added to a keychain or clasped to a chain as a piece of jewelry. And another gives a choice of three charms that specify which brand of shot someone received.
A pricier option is a $48 necklace that spells out 'vaccinated' and comes in silver, gold, yellow and a range of chain sizes, not to mention more than 100 five-star reviews.
The site also has key chains and pins - one even features Rosie The Riveter wearing a face mask and sporting a bandage on her upper arm. Her infamous speech bubble reading 'we can do this' was replaced with 'vaccinated'.

On his Monday night segment, Fox News host Tucker Carlson mocked the trend, citing it as 'the cult of coronavirus,' which has taken the place of religion in America.
He insisted the new so-called creed has been encouraging its followers to swap their cross necklaces for vaccination bling and characteristically slammed Covid-19 vaccines, this time for taking the place of 'the faith that created Western civilization - Christianity'.
He called the cross 'yesterday's symbol' and cited New York Governor Kathy Hochul as 'one of the high priestesses of this new faith' as she donned today's pendant - a vaccination necklace - while giving a speech at NYC's Christian Cultural Center on Sunday.
