Benjamin Moulton, 43, confessed to killing of Nicole Scott, 29, a decade ago, police said
A Florida man revealed to police he was the culprit in a 2011 homicide cold case of a 29-year-old woman.
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office said Benjamin Moulton, 43, turned himself in and confessed to the killing of Nicole Rose Scott, from Saratosa, in 2011.
Moulton allegedly told police that he had 'found Jehovah, and couldn't live with the guilt anymore'.
He has since been charged with first-degree murder.
Investigators said Moulton walked into the police station on Wednesday and shared details about the homicide that hadn't been released to the public and only someone involved in the killing would know.
On December 11, 2011, Scott's body was found partially dressed by a motorcyclist around University Parkway in the Lakewood Ranch wooden area, near The Concession Golf Club.
