Dog the Bounty Hunter has been joined by a law enforcement officer on his own manhunt for fugitive Brian Laundrie, one of his representatives said Friday.

However, they did not say which agency was involved in Dog's personal quest which has been focused on Fort De Soto Park, Florida while the FBI-led hunt has been in swampland near Laundrie's home 75 miles away in North Port.

'As an example of Dog's cooperation with law enforcement, a plain clothed officer is embedded with the search team today. No other details are available,' said a statement from his PR firm.

When asked by DailyMail.com which agency is allegedly involved, they replied: 'We have no other details to provide on the embedded officer.'

North Port Police told DailyMail.com any officer working with Dog is not one of their team. The FBI did not respond respond to requests for comment.

Reps for the reality TV star – real name Duane Chapman – revealed he and his family have also added $10,000 to any reward money currently on offer for information leading to Brian Laundrie's arrest.

A number of supporters of Gabby Petito's family have contributed large sums towards the reward offer, which was up to $170,000 prior to Dog's donation.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Department - which covers Fort De Soto Park where the Laundries camped with Brian on September 6 to 8 - has not responded to DailyMail.com's request for comment.

It previously said it was not searching in that area despite Dog continuing to push his claims that Laundrie is in the vicinity.

The former bail bondsman's rep also claimed it was a tip to Dog that revealed Brian's sister Cassie joined him and their parents Christopher, 62, and Roberta, 55, at the campsite on September 6.

Cassie Laundrie spoke to ABC during the early stages of the investigation, claiming she hadn't spoken to Brian since he returned to Florida without Gabby on September 1.

The rep said: 'Dog received a tip that placed Brian's sister, Cassie in Fort DeSoto on September 6, which seemingly contradicts her previous statement.

'That information was immediately given to law enforcement this morning. It has been corroborated. No further details available.'

Cassie told Good Morning America that she has not yet spoken to her brother, who was named a person of interest earlier this week, and that she has done all she can to assist in the case.

Cassie Laundrie told ABC last month that she had not spoken to her brother about Gabby  Petito's disappearance

The Laundries lawyer Steve Bertolino told Dailymail.com: 'Cassie saw her brother Brian on September 1 when he stopped by her home and again on September 6 at Fort De Soto Park.

'Law enforcement agencies are well aware of these dates. Any prior communication by Cassie that does not reflect these dates is simply a difference of relating an answer to a question misrepresented by Cassie or poorly posed by the inquirer.'

On Wednesday, Dog discovered a fresh campsite on Florida's Shell Island during the search, as he flew a sign taunting the 23-year-old fugitive.

The banner, which was flown over the islands off the western coast of Florida, according to Outsider, read 'Aloha Brian Laundrie' and was signed 'Dog'.

He shared a photo of the banner on his Instagram account, but said he was not responsible for the sign.

'Frankly, I wish I had thought of that, but it wasn't our team,' Dog wrote. 'I'd love to shake the hand of whoever is behind the banner, I'll tell you that.'

On Monday night, the reality star (pictured) revealed that Laundrie's parents spent the night in the campsite from September 1 to 3, staying in spot number 1. They returned again with Laundrie to stay on spot 15 from September 6 to 8, and left without him

During a ground search Wednesday, Dog and his team recovered a can of Monster Energy Ultra Gold which appeared to have been freshly drunk at a makeshift campsite deep in the woods at Shell Island along the coastline Wednesday, Fox News reported.

However, the team did not find solid evidence suggesting that Laundrie, who is a person of interest in the homicide of his fiancée, Gabby Petito, 22, is in the woods on Egmont Key - located southwest of Florida's Fort De Soto Park.

Dog is likely not searching on Thursday, but will be following up with leads from his temporary headquarters in the Sarasota area, according to a statement from his spokesperson.

'This has been a very different search,' Dog said. 'Social media has enabled us to do this alongside everyone out there. America is along for the journey with us and I'm ready to do more!'

Dog, who announced he was launching a search for Laundrie at the weekend, has focused his attention on the coastline and creeks surrounding Fort De Soto park.

The TV star used boats and K9 units top search the area Wednesday.

His spokesperson said he has been 'working on very strong leads' and that it 'could very well be the last day of the hunt to apprehend Brian Laundrie'.
