BBC news host and Question Time presenter Fiona Bruce, 57, was among famous faces to pose with their dogs for portrait photographer Andy Gott.

Doc Martin star Martin Clunes, 59, was snapped relaxing with his four pets while Imelda Staunton, 65, who plays the Queen in the next series of The Crown, and her husband Downton Abbey star Jim Carter, 73, also posed.

Music mogul Simon Cowell posed with with his dogs Squiddly, Diddly, Freddy and Dais.
