A missing dog who was washed away by a fast-flowing swelling river has been found alive almost a week later- on his owner's birthday.
Bobby, an XL Bully Trindle American Bully, is an extremely rare breed and one of only two in the whole country.
While out on a walk in Cumbria with ex-soldier owner Simon Kitchen, 51, Bobby bolted and disappeared after his owner slipped down a hill.
Bobby was beneath the fast-flowing River Rawthey near Sedbergh in Cumbria that was swollen by torrential rain, according to the Metro.
