A pervert was slammed by a judge for his 'horrible hostility towards women' as he is given 37 weeks in prison for drunkenly exposing himself to a lone female passenger who was sat alone on a train, just hours after being released from prison.

Oliver Trim, 32, boarded the Bristol-bound train from Paddington in June last year, and was helped by a woman as his bag became trapped when he walked down the aisle.

He then sat near the woman, who soon became his victim, and tried to make conversation with her before revealing he had just been released from prison that day.

Westminster Magistrates' Court heard Trim repeatedly asked the victim to have sex with him in the train toilets and whether she was 'naughty'.

After turning down his offer and ignoring his advances, he continued to ask before unzipping his trousers to show his penis.

The terrified woman believed he was going to climb on top of her and rape her.

She managed to quickly send a message to friends which prompted police to board the train at the next station and arrest him.

He sniffed loudly in the dock and was tearful as a judge blasted him for making no attempt to change his 'horrible hostility towards women'.

In a victim impact statement, the woman said: 'The incident left me feeling disgusted and in some ways angry, upset and frightened about what happened.

'I didn't know what to do. If I hadn't defended myself I believe he would have taken things further.

'I believed he would rape me. It makes me upset to even think about it.

'I am incredibly anxious to get on board another service to Bristol.. I don't know if I will ever feel comfortable getting on a train alone again.'

Trim later assaulted a female police officer by squeezing her bottom.

The officer said in a statement: 'I'm a firm believer in being treated fairly and being treated how you would want to be treated.
