A Met policeman who sent a photo of his penis to a female ex-colleague kept his job after being reported to the force, it has been revealed.

The probationary constable in his twenties allegedly sent the explicit image via Whatsapp to 64-year-old Jill Knight in May - five months after she retired.

He had previously made a comment about exposing his penis and asked her on a date to 'teach him anything other than police work', reports The Times.

Ms Knight, who worked as a recruit trainer at Hendon police college, reported the picture the next day but was informed that it was not a criminal offence.
