Two West Midlands Police officers and a special constable have been charged with rape in unconnected cases it emerged today.
The three suspects have been accused of the sexual offences in separate incidents between October 2018 and October 1 this year.
One PC was charged with rape in June this year while a second officer was charged with rape in October 2019.

A special constable was charged in April 2019.
The three accused are due to face separate trials at later dates.
Meanwhile, again in an unconnected case, a fourth West Midlands Police officer was found not guilty of rape earlier this year following a trial.
The three rape charges against the West Midlands officers were confirmed in a Freedom of Information request which was initially rejected by the force.
When that decision was questioned the force confirmed details of the cases.
