For those on the outside, Michelle Darragh appeared to have the perfect life - regularly sharing loving snaps of her 'hunni' boyfriend, their three dogs and beautiful two young boys.  

But two Saturdays ago, Ms Darragh's lifeless body was found next to her critically-injured partner Ben Coman inside his Melbourne home.   

The pair had split up two weeks earlier and Ms Darragh had reportedly visited the home to pick up some of her belongings. 

Her father found her in a pool of her own blood after climbing over a neighbour's fence when she didn't return to their home in The Basin for several hours. 

Ms Darragh was declared dead at the scene and Mr Coman was rushed to Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition where he remains under police guard.

No charges have been laid over Ms Darragh's grisly death and police are not looking to interview anyone else. 

Ms Darragh and Mr Coman had been living at the house with their two sons prior to them separating two weeks ago.
