The Metropolitan Police and Transport for London are investigating anti-Israel posters, based on controversial author Sally Rooney's Normal People book cover, that appeared on a London bus stop.
A picture was posted on Twitter yesterday appearing to show a poster that read 'Normal People Boycott Israel' on the Vauxhall Park bus stop in front of the Better Vauxhall Leisure Centre in Lambeth.
Last week, the award-winning Irish author, 30, was accused of anti-Semitism after reportedly refusing to allow her new book - Beautiful World, Where Are You - to be published in Hebrew.

A spokesperson for Transport for London (TfL) responding on Twitter said: 'This has been raised with the relevant team to investigate - it will be removed very soon.'
The picture sparked outrage on Twitter with one user commenting: 'How is this acceptable? How is this acceptable!'
A spokesperson for Lambeth Police responded: 'We were alerted to this poster on 18 October and officers will be investigating.
'We've also been in touch with TfL who will be sending a contractor to remove it as soon as possible.'
Lord (David) Wolfson of Tredegar QC, a minister in the Ministry of Justice, said: 'Would you please clarify - was this 'advertisement' originally approved by TfL, but now is under investigation? Or was it put up without any TfL input or approval?'
