They really went astray' It was posted alongside an image of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan The website returned to normal later on Monday with a photo of Trump and a link to give him donations   RootAyyildiz also took credit for defacing Biden's campaign website in November 2020, just after the election results had been announced

Turkish cybercriminals appeared to hack Donald Trump's website on Monday and published a video of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and a quote about Allah on the homepage.

Visitors clicking onto the site were greeted with a message from the apparent hacker saying: 'Do not be like those who forgot Allah, so Allah made them forget themselves. They really went astray.'

RootAyyildiz has taken credit for hacking donaldjtrump.com and publishing the Islamist message. 

The page, run by Trump's Save America PAC was back to normal later Monday with a photo of the former president outside the White House and a link to give donations.
