The BBC has announced new graphics, idents and layouts to make their content 'instantly recognisable', some of which look very similar to the current designs.
The changes, which will be absorbed into current budgets 'wherever possible', are part of an aim to 'join the dots' between different arms of the corporation.
They include updated idents in between programmes on BBC One, Two and Four, which will start to air from October 20, as well as on BBC Scotland and BBC Alba.
