The woman who captured the moment turned to Bureau of Meteorology radar fan club on Facebook for answers, which has more than 263,000 members. 'Anybody knows what this thing is that fell from the sky? Captured by my dashcam here in Mount Isa,' the woman captioned the footage. Stunned viewers were divided on what the mysterious flash of light could be. 'Most likely a small comet being composed of ice or iron (small meteor), given its yellowish colour,' one man commented. Another added: 'Footage like this is gold as it enables determination of the trajectory of the object.
