Five military veterans advising Sen. Kyrsten Sinema resign

Five veterans who advise moderate Democratic Sen. Kyrsten Sinema have resigned, calling her out for being one of the 'principal obstacles to progress,' in a scathing letter and accompanying video.     

'You have become one of the principal obstacles to progress, answering to big donors rather than your own people,' said the letter, which was first reported by The New York Times. 'We shouldn't have to buy representation from you, and your failure to stand by your people and see their urgent needs is alarming.'  

The veterans hammered Sinema for not backing voting rights - since she won't support filibuster reform - as well as hamstringing Democratic efforts to lower prescription drug prices, part of President Joe Biden's proposed 'Build Back Better' reconciliation bill.
