If they cannot provide vaccination status they have to give proof of a negative COVID test within the last 48 hours which includes a lateral flow. The final option the event offers is proof of natural immunity shown through a positive PCR test result for COVID-19, lasting for 180 days after the test and following completion of self-isolation. Comic Con 2021, held at the ExCeL in London, has reduced numbers of attendees as well, to ensure social distancing and the event organisers have encouraged those with tickets to the event to carry on wearing masks where possible. The event was cancelled in October 2020 because organisers 'could not deliver' the experience attendees wanted due to Covid.
