NRL star James Tedesco has denied claims he shouted 'Squid Game' at a young Vietnamese woman before boasting: 'Do you know who I am?'
The Sydney Roosters captain allegedly shouted the reference to the hit South Korean Netflix series at Tiffany Trinh, 20, outside Bondi's Beach Road Hotel on Thursday.
Ms Trinh said she was waiting with a friend for a lift home when she was approached by Tedesco and a group of friends.
'It was a group of about ten footy boys, and I was pretty intimidated,' she told Sydney Morning Herald.
