Iconic soap opera actor John James (above) will play President Joe Biden in the upcoming film My Son Hunter
John James is being brought on board to play President Joe Biden in the upcoming Hunter Biden movie, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
British actor Laurence Fox, who is playing Hunter Biden, posted an image Monday that appeared to be from set where he is donning a white loin cloth, an orange scarf and sunglasses – and nothing else – in an outfit indicative of one of the photos found on the president's son's harddrive.
'Everything is fine. I'm in a really good place,' Fox sarcastically posted in the image from the set where he was holding up a peace sign alongside a woman in lingerie.
The film from conservative filmmakers and married couple Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney began shooting in Serbia this week.
'The script has it all. Money, power, greed, sex, drugs, and alcohol,' James said in a 39-second clip announcing his role.
'It kind of reminds me of Dynasty,' he said in a nod to his most notable TV role.
'This is a common tale of a father's ultimate love for his son, despite his major shortcomings,' the actor continued. 'My Son Hunter is an inside look at the world of politics.'
James, 65, is a veteran daytime soap opera star most known for his 1980s role of Jeff Colby in Dynasty, which ran from 1981-1989, and its spin-off series The Colbys, which ran from 1985-1987.
Most recently, James starred in 2020 film Axcellerator and will now take on playing the 46th President of the United States in a biopic about his son.
