Two young musicians who were found dead next to each other in a house in regional Victoria have been remembered as loving friends who 'struggled with demons'.

Ethan Sfetcopoulos, 19 and Sawandeep Singh Chhokar, 20, were found by emergency services after being called to a house on Kinchega Drive, North Shepparton on Monday morning.

Victoria Police confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances but said their 'exact causes of death' had not been determined.

A police spokeswoman said she could not comment on speculation from close friends that drugs were involved in their deaths.
