A group of teenagers were treated by paramedics after ingesting a form of poison.

Paramedics were called to Redcliffe State High School, in Brisbane's north-east, just before 12pm on Tuesday.

A spokeswoman from Queensland Ambulance Services told Daily Mail Australia paramedics rushed to an address off Klingner Road in Redcliffe.

Paramedics then assessed five students in the school grounds, with another student transported to hospital for an unrelated medical condition.
