A bizarre new song written by an American rapper that slams Australians for being 'complacent' has skyrocketed to the top of the US charts.

Rapper Bryson Gray's song 'Let's Go Brandon' has been banned from Instagram and YouTube for spreading 'harmful false information'.

Alongside lyrics like 'Pandemic ain't real, they just planned it' and 'Biden said the jab stop the spread, it was lies' the musician took aim at Australia's Covid-19 restrictions.

'Look at Australia, that's what's comin' next if we don't stand up. Stop complyin' with them takin' our rights, it's time to man up,' the lyrics read.

Gray - who describes himself as 'the most censored rap artist in America' - has been in the top charts since Sunday and has even overtaken Adele's single 'Easy On Me'.

In the music video for the song, Gray appears in an 'Impeach Biden' T-shirt and a MAGA bucket hat while holding an assault rifle.

The rapper announced his anti-Biden song had been banned on Thursday, tweeting: 'What medical misinformation is in the song? Whoa'.

According to Gray, YouTube initially took down the lyric version of the video before the actual music video was taken down.

He compared Google-owned YouTube to a Communist dictatorship and said that the ban only made the song more popular.

'I want to thank YouTube for banning my “Let’s Go Brandon” song. All y’all did was p*** a bunch of people off and made more people go listen to it. Let’s Go YouTube. Commies,' he tweeted on Saturday.

Gray wrote the song in response to NBC’s coverage of a NASCAR race in Alabama on October 2, where fans were heard chanting 'F*** Joe Biden'.

NBC reporter Kelli Stavast was interviewing racer Brandon Brown when she allegedly misheard the crowd and told the broadcast they were yelling 'Let's Go Brandon!'

Biden critics believed the reporter purposely tried to censor the crowd.

'Let's Go Brandon!' has become shorthand for 'F**k Joe Biden' on social media, with many using the hashtag #LetsGoBrandon to criticise the President.

The song follows a suite of conservative politicians who have taken aim at Australia's Covid-19 restrictions, circuit-breaker lockdowns and vaccine mandates.

Earlier in October, Texas senator Ted Cruz attacked the nation for its 'disgraceful and sad Covid tyranny'.

The conservative American senator slammed the Northern
