Irina Borisova Shadrina, 33, of Hallandale Beach, faces felony charges of vehicular homicide and manslaughter after the crash that killed 61-year-old Lionel Michael Marquez, police say

A Florida woman was arrested after allegedly hitting and killing a man with her Maserati as he stood next to his Ferrari, knocking him off a 30ft-high bridge.

Irina Borisova Shadrina, 33, of Hallandale Beach, surrendered to Miami-Dade Police on Monday, two weeks after the crash that killed 61-year-old Lionel Michael Marquez.

Marquez was struck by Shadrina's 2019 Maserati while he was standing next to his Ferrari.

Toxicology reports from the night of the crash showed that Shadrina was driving three times over the legal limit of alcohol, police said.

She now faces felony charges of vehicular homicide and manslaughter.

Bond was set at $15,000 dollars, which Shadrina has already posted.

'The defendant's decision to drive her vehicle while being so heavily intoxicated in an urban area that is traveled by many motorists demonstrates a reckless disregard for the safety of others and herself,' the arrest report said, local10 reported.

On Friday, October 15, Marquez's 2021 Ferrari SF90 broke down along the Westbound lanes on the 163rd Street bridge.

He went out of the vehicle to check the engine and was standing by the rear, near Collins Avenue, before the crash.

Moments later, he was sent over the railing by Shadrina's 2019 Maserati, falling at least 30feet off the bridge.
