A barefoot Terry Kelly appeared in court on Thursday afternoon where he was charged with taking Cleo Smith from her family's tent 19 days ago before unleashing a bizarre rant against the judge and media.

The 36-year-old was charged with multiple offences including forcibly taking a child under 16 and appeared in Carnarvon Magistrate's Court on Thursday shoe-less, wearing a black T-shirt.

Kelly, who Daily Mail Australia revealed has a strange obsession for Bratz Dolls and even constructed social media accounts for himself and his 'family' of figures, had several outbursts during his appearance at around 4:15pm local time.

At one stage Kelly screamed 'I'm coming for you!', aimed at no one in particular, before asking the judge 'what the f*ck are the media doing here?' pointing to the reporters sitting in the gallery, according to The Australian.
