Melbourne has been lashed by giant hail stones and torrential rain as homes were flooded and Victoria's rescue hotline recorded its second busiest week ever.
Victoria's State Emergency Service received 200 calls for help on Saturday afternoon after 24mm of rain fell in Melbourne's south east in just 15 minutes.
