Coffee lovers could soon be forking out more for their daily caffeine hit.
Prices are set to go up by as much as $1 a cup as cafes try to bounce back following the Covid-19 pandemic.
The price hike is due to a sharp increase in freight and shipping costs with cafes in urban areas expected to be hit the hardest.
The Cafe Owners and Baristas Association of Australia has warned coffee lovers to 'definitely' expect a rise of anywhere from 50 cents to up to $1.
