Champion jockey Brett Prebble was left bloodied by a scuffle at an upmarket restaurant while celebrating ex-AFL coach Ross Lyon's 55th birthday.
Prebble, who rode beaten Melbourne Cup Incentivise, got into a fight with another man during the lunch at Port Melbourne seafood restaurant Rubira on Monday.
The horseman had blood spattered across his shirt from a cut he suffered during the melee, which marred the former football coach's party, SEN reported.
Victoria Police were not called about the fight.
