Peloton has been accused of blocking users from using the #LetsGoBrandon tag on its platforms because it 'does not meet guidelines'.

The fitness company, famous for its spin bikes, gives members access to a Peloton App where they can post their workout along with tags to connect with other Peloton users with similar interests.

However, Peloton appears to have banned the use of the tag #LetsGoBrandon and sends an error message when the anti-Biden hashtag is used on their app, according to screenshots from PJ Media

The phrase Let's Go Brandon was sparked after a reporter mistook chants of 'f*** Joe Biden' at a NASCAR rally in October for the more benign phrase, and it has since become a running joke among Biden critics, and used to mock the president.

The screenshot from the Peloton app shows that when the phrase is typed in, it returns the words: 'This tag does not meet our guidelines.'

It is not clear how #LetsGoBrandon violates Peloton's community guidelines as other political hashtags critical of President Biden such as #ImpeachBiden and  #WomenForTrump are permitted on the platform along with left-wing tags including #BlackLivesMatter and #DefundThePolice.

In recent figures, Peloton reported 2.49 million connected fitness subscribers, or those who own a Peloton product and pay a monthly fee to access the company's digital workout content.

MailOnline has reached out to Peloton for comment.
