Britney Spears's father Jamie marked the end of his daughter's controversial conservatorship on Friday with a trip to a Louisiana lumber yard - a typically low-key day for a man who has never courted the spotlight.
Jamie, 69, was spotted in cargo pants, a baseball cap and a long-sleeved t-shirt at the yard in Kentwood - where he was born, where Britney was born, and where he and his ex-wife Lynne still live.
He arrived at the lumber yard in the afternoon, following the Los Angeles hearing, which began at 1:30pm and was over in 30 minutes, with the conservatorship official ended.
The father of three drove himself to the yard from the RV where he is living, having sold the family home - where Britney and her siblings grew up - in February.
