LeBron James' eldest son Bronny is drawing the interest of top college basketball programs across the country, suggesting the young high school guard is poised to follow in his father's footsteps.

Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and the University of North Carolina are all eyeing the Sierra Canyon High School junior, who is listed at 6-foot-three and 190 pounds, according to 247 Sports.

On Friday, LeBron James posted an Instagram video showing Bronny bouncing a ball off the backboard and executing a windmill dunk in the gym of the Southern California high school.

Bronny, whose full name is LeBron James Jr, is the eldest of the Los Angeles Lakers star's three children.

While he is a year or more away from committing to a college, some of the top programs in the country are already taking a look. 

'Athletically, James is impressive and he’s continued to become more athletic over the last year,' wrote 247 Sports Director of Basketball Recruiting Evan Daniels.

'Where he impresses the most is with his feel for the game, vision and passing,' he added.

'James is also an impressive shooter with good shot mechanics. He’s comfortable pulling up for one and two dribble pull-ups, and has a lot of potential as a long-range shooter. It’s still early in the process, and ultimately
