A member of the Los Angeles Fire Department is being investigated for allegedly dropping his pants and wiping his buttocks with a compliance letter he received for not abiding by the city's vaccine mandate.

The LAFD member was being accused of the act by Stentorians of Los Angeles City, a group that represents black firefighters.

A department spokesperson confirmed Wednesday that the firefighter 'responded inappropriately' to receiving the letter.

The alleged incident took place on November 18, according to a spokesperson for the LAFD.

'The department is aware of the seriousness of the allegations and took immediate action upon learning of this incident,' said Cheryl Getuiza, who would not provide any further details.

The LAFD member in question is on paid administrative leave for the time being.

The Stentorians claim an LAFD captain and chief officer saw the incident, which took place at Fire Station 69 in Pacific Palisades.

'The LA City Stentorians are sickened and disgusted by this horrific display of unprofessionalism,' the Stentorians' statement said. 'To date, we have not heard from anyone from the LAFD administration condemning this act of blatant disrespect and harassment.'

The Stentorians demanded Mayor Eric Garcetti, the city council and the fire commission 'take swift and immediate action to deter any city employee from feeling entitled and not encouraged but empowered to behave in such an embarrassing and threatening manner.'

They added that the act was a 'terminable' offense.
