Leeds revellers braved the wind and bitter cold last night as Storm Arwen swept the UK.
They took to the streets in their best going-out finery, despite the treacherous weather across Yorkshire.
Many people in parts of Leeds, Halifax and Calder Valley were without power yesterday because of the storm.
There had also been travel disruption and fallen trees because of strong winds and snow but that did not deter determined revellers from going out.

Some wrapped up in coats in an attempt to keep warm as temperatures dropped to just 30F (-1C) in Leeds last night.
But not everyone did, with some of the more foolhardy opting to not wear coats and smiling through gritted teeth.
One brave reveller wore a skimpy pink dress, bare legs and heels while she linked arms with her friend who had wrapped up in a jacket.
