A homeowner in the south of England was branded 'selfish' after they complained about being woken up by an air ambulance during the early hours of the morning.
The Southampton resident asked Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance to 'explain' why they had been flying at 4am.
They said they would no longer donate to the charity rescue service because it was being 'inconsiderate'.
The air ambulance team shared the complaint and said: 'We always try our best to be there for people but messages like this really affect our team's morale.

'We are sorry the helicopter wakes people up at night but it is not our intention to disrupt our evening but rather save someone's life.'
