Around 250 international students are set to arrive in Sydney on Monday, despite a delay in easing border restrictions due to the new Omicron variant of Covid-19.
The students are from more than 15 countries, including Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, South Korea, China and Canada.
Daily Mail Australia understands that none of the students are from the southern African countries at the centre of the Omicron outbreak.
The students will isolate at a student accommodation facility in the inner city Sydney suburb of Redfern for three days.

They will be subject to strict new quarantine measures introduced last weekend.
'International Students who enter NSW will need to isolate for 72 hours as per the current NSW Public Health Orders,' the state minister for trade Stuart Ayres said.
