What exactly does Chris Cuomo have on the President of CNN, Jeff Zucker? Seriously, what does Chris Cuomo know about Jeff Zucker that is so compromising that Jeff doesn't want the American public to know?
At this point, I can't come up with any other reason why Chris Cuomo has kept his job as a primetime anchor at CNN. Or is the media truly such a disgusting cesspool that you just have to be bros with the president of a news network and schmooze at cocktail parties in the Hamptons to never be forced to take any accountability whatsoever for your actions?
I haven't been able to figure out why Chris Cuomo is still employed in mainstream media for a very long time but, if there were any doubt, here we are yet again with another glaring example of why he is unfit to anchor an evening news show on a major cable network.
For too long Chris Cuomo has been given a pass by the media where others wouldn't. It is among the worst things that connections to power, fame and a political last name have to offer in this industry.
There is a litany of inexcusable journalistic behavior that Chris Cuomo has exhibited in the past few years, honestly too many to go over, however here are a few notable examples.
What exactly does Chris Cuomo have on the President of CNN, Jeff Zucker? At this point, I can't come up with any other reason why Chris Cuomo has kept his job as a primetime anchor at CNN. Newly-released transcripts from the investigation into Governor Andrew Cuomo show Chris sending text messages and running interference for Governor Cuomo's abysmal PR team after his brother was accused of sexual harassment. Chris even asked sources to dig up dirt on his brother's accusers
In one text exchange between Andrew Cuomo's top aide Melissa DeRosa, she asks him for his thoughts on a media query, and then tells her 'I have a lead on the wedding girl', referring to Anna Ruch who accused the former governor of asking if he could kiss her at a wedding
Whomever still has a brain or a soul at CNN should fire Chris Cuomo today and Toobin with him. If he isn't fired, I suggest the media turn their direct focus to CNN President Jeff Zucker (pictured far left with his wife Caryn Zucker, who he split from three years ago, and Chris in 2014) and delve deeper into exactly why the president of his network is so hellbent on protecting Chris
I have seen the pain and trauma that happened as a result because sadly a dear friend of mine, Fox News meteorologist Janice Dean, lost her in-laws in that tragedy.
