The Brisbane man was found guilty of a range of child abuse offences and jailed for five years with a non-parole period of two years. On his return to Australia, the man's belongings were examined by Australian Border Force officers at Brisbane International Airport. Images of child sexual abuse were discovered on the man's laptop, smart phone and a USB drive with the man subsequently arrested by investigators. The seven children were liberated from further online sexual exploitation after a search warrant was executed at Labason on the island of Mindanao. Those rescued were between three and 14 years of age, with one woman also arrested in the operation, who remains before the courts in the Philippines. More to come.
