Anthony Albanese has channelled Barack Obama by using the former US President's famous slogan 'yes we can' at a press conference on Monday.
Mr Obama first used the slogan in 2004 when he ran for the US Senate in Illinois and the phrase became a rallying cry during his winning 2008 presidential campaign.
The three-word slogan was used to inspire voters by convincing them it was possible to bring about positive change.
Mr Albanese turned to the phrase at a press conference in Newcastle, NSW on Monday where he spruiked his policy to provide 465,000 free TAFE places and 20,000 extra university places.

'We're going to change. But what we're going to do is have safe change. And I make no apologies for that. Australia's a great country.
