Armed police descended on a street after a woman was savaged by her own bulldogs today.
An address in St Helens, Merseyside, was the centre of a large emergency response scene, including two police cars, police dogs, an ambulance and a fire engine.
Merseyside Police said a woman was seriously injured and rushed to hospital after her four dogs attacked her inside her home.
Assam Close, by Reginald Road in the south of the town, was flooded with police shortly after 10am.
