A university student allegedly held mini cabs for a gang so they could escape after stabbing an innocent M&S shop assistant to death.

Anthony Adekola, 22, was returning home from a shift when youths wearing black face masks and bandanas leapt out of the two cars and chased after him.

He was fatally stabbed at least nine times in his head, neck, back and chest and had already died when paramedics arrived at the scene in Colindale, north-west London on September 5 last year.

Ta-Jaun Subaran, 20, and two 17-year-olds were jailed for 22, 18, and 17-and-a-half years respectively in November.
