Mark Latham has savaged Grace Tame, accusing her of having 'disgraced' the role Australian of the Year in an extraordinary outburst.
The provocative NSW One Nation leader used social media to unleash on Tame, a sexual assault survivor and activist who has been increasingly outspoken, including being openly critical of the Prime Minister, Scott Morrison.
'Australian of the Year says the Prime Minister has a corrupt standard. This is the new normal in the way Grace Tame has disgraced her role,' Latham said in a tweet on December 3.

He was responding to Tame's claim four days earlier that the Prime Minister 'leads a coalition whose behaviour evidences a distinctly corrupt standard'.
The 27-year-old Tame responded to Latham's attack by saying: 'Thanks Real Mark. Framing this.'
He shot back: 'It used to be a role to unite Australians. Now just your standard political hack. The selection committee has much to answer for.'
In a head-to-head Twitter popularity contest on the matter, Tame wins in a landslide.
Her response to Latham received 10,000 likes compared to Latham's barb, which had just 43 likes.

Overall social media reaction has largely been in favour of Tame, although Latham still has his supporters.
Tame has 96,500 Twitter followers and Latham 60,000 - although he has been on the platform seven years longer.
Tame, named Australian of the Year for her work as an advocate for survivors of sexual assault, has brought her activism to the Australian of the Year role as much as anyone in recent memory.
This has included increasingly applying public pressure to the Prime Minister.
