An Aussie worker has claimed his former workplace threw the 'cheapest' office Christmas party ever - with the event so bad it drove him to quit.

Zach Mander, a video creator from Brisbane, unleashed on his former company, which offered just a small plate of sushi and a 'pyramid' of two-minute noodles as food for the end of year event.

'I believe I've attended the cheapest office Christmas party that's ever existed,' he said in a TikTok.

He said the first 'red flag' was that the party began with a loud speaker announcement telling staff to go into the 'multi-purpose room'.
