The start of day two in the Boxing Day Test match was thrown into disarray after a Covid case was identified in the England camp.
A family member of one of the English players tested positive, forcing the entire squad to take rapid antigen tests on Monday morning.
The team was cleared to travel to the Melbourne Cricket Ground and warm up after test results cleared the team's members of any infection.
Play is now expected to start later this morning, slightly delayed from the 10.30am start with Australia 1/61 after bowling England out for just 185.
However, the news was not as good for the Channel 7 commentary crew, who were thrown into isolation after a staffer tested positive overnight.
