Jared Schmeck said Tuesday he is now considering running for political office after gaining notoriety among Republicans for getting President Joe Biden to say 'Let's Go Brandon' during a Christmas Eve event.
'I want to pray about it, see what God has for me,' Schmeck told conservative Christian media personality Todd Starnes when asked if he is thinking about running for office. 'At the end of the day, I want His will for my life and the direction that it goes.'
'I do feel like God put me in this position for a reason,' he added.
'And I strongly believe that standing up is the right thing to do here as long as that message that I'm portraying is glorifying His name. And yeah, I'll see where it goes.'
Schmeck, 35, made headlines after calling into the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Santa Claus tracking broadcast on Christmas Eve, which included an appearance from Biden and first lady Jill who took calls from Americans and their kids.
