Kerry Chant pleads for a 'sense of urgency' in getting booster shots as she reveals just THREE of NSW's record 36 Covid deaths today were unvaccinated

Kerry Chant has pleaded with Australians to get their booster shots or risk dying of Covid even if they are vaccinated.
The NSW chief health officer sounded the alarm as a record 36 people died with Covid in NSW on Monday and only three of them were unvaccinated.
Health Minister Bradd Hazzard said half of those clogging up 209 ICU beds around the state were unvaccinated, despite being just five per cent of the population.
However, despite the protection afforded by the vaccine, Dr Chant said due to the Omicron variant and waning vaccine immunity, boosters were now urgent.
