Queensland Health Minister Yvette D'Ath has unleashed on Prime Minster Scott Morrison for spruiking rapid antigen tests at state testing clinics in a furious rant.

Ms D'Ath called on Mr Morrrson to apologise for a 'chest-beating' ad campaign in which the Federal government talked about the availability of RATs at clinics run by states. 

The ads suggest those who are close contacts of a Covid case, are symptomatic with the virus or are required to take a RAT under a public health direction can get a free test at state testing clinics. 

'Queensland has not received the Commonwealth's supply yet,' Ms D'Ath complained.

She said 100,000 tests were expected to be delivered by Wednesday but that 50,000 of the consignment were 'point of care' tests not suitable for public testing clinics.
