Australians who test positive to Covid could have to isolate for just five days under new rules being considered by Scott Morrison.
Isolation was dropped to seven days in December, but could be further reduced as authorities weigh up 'a difficult balancing act' between public health and the economy, and new medical evidence emerges.
Other countries are already slashing their quarantine periods with the US and Europe requiring five days and the UK potentially scrapping isolation completely.
