A 40 year old woman was arrested then released after the body of a three month old baby was found wrapped in plastic and stuffed in a freezer on Wednesday night. 

Police made the horror discovery as they searched a house in Corowa, 60km west of Albury on the NSW-Victoria border, after reports of a missing infant. 

Neighbours reported hearing a loud scream coming from the Church Street home late on Wednesday night. 

The woman was arrested at the scene. Homicide detectives have now launched an investigation and the home is being search by specialist forensic officers.
