A driver behind the wheel of an electric hybrid 'supercar' was caught speeding down a motorway at more than double the national speed limit.
Officers said they clocked the £85,000 BMW i8 travelling at 142mph on the M5 in Somerset on Thursday, January 20, before stopping the vehicle near to Bristol.
