The mother of a teenage girl who was killed after being hit by a car outside of her home say the family's hearts 'are broken in a thousand pieces'.
Bella Canfield, 18, died after she was struck by a car during her daily walk near her home in Salisbury West, northwest of Bendigo, on Wednesday night.
It is understood officers spoke with the driver of the vehicle and no charges were laid, with an investigation ongoing.
