Australian of the Year Grace Tame has revealed her engagement to partner Max Heerey after a tumultuous year-long romance and unveiled her typically unique ring. 

Grace shared the exciting news in an Instagram post on Saturday that left Aussie influencers all round sending congratulations.

The post showed off Grace's unconventional ring with a dark deep blue sapphire stone and showed the moment Max popped the question while on a bike ride.
